SPOLETO: VITTORIO SGARBI PRESENTS FEDOR KUZ’MIC SUSKOV AT THE FESTIVAL OF THE TWO WORLDS

Spoleto calls Russia and Russia answers. The fifty-four edition of the prestigious Festival dei Due Mondi thanks to the direction of the Art Section, which is headed by none other than prof. Vittorio Sgarbi, stands in the wake of the celebrations of Russian Art and Culture in Italy 2011.

Sgarbi proposes a masterly lesson in contemporary art from the east, exposing the works of Fedor Kuz’mic Suskov (1923-2006), that is the greatest sculptor of monumental and decorative Russian art.

Saturday, June 25th at 6 pm in Palazzo Arcani Arroni then in the former Civic Museum the vernissage of the exhibitions will be held in the presence of prof. Sgarbi, of Giorgio Ferrara president and artistic director of the Festival and of Salvo Nugnes managing director of Promoter Arte, who signed the direction of the event with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Umbria Region, the Province of Perugia and the Municipality of Spoleto with the contribution of the Roma Arte e Musei Foundation.
